We were hired by the Royal Geelong Yacht Club to assist in the procurement of items for their Festival of Sails event. This included procuring an assortment of items for the boating events that were scheduled to take place. The JC Procurement team are happy to report that we assisted the Geelong Yachy Club in reducing their per item spend by ~40%.

The clients were overwhelmed with the products quality, price and our services. And they are very looking forward for next year's order with us.

"Each year at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club we procure a wide number of items for the Festival of Sails boating event in Geelong.

The Festival of Sails is the largest yachting regatta in the southern hemisphere attracting close to 300 yacht annually including national and international entries.

Prior to 2014, our procurement efforts for various promotional items and event regalia were in need of refreshing due to time delays and cost factors.

In July 2014 based on a recommendation from a business associate, I engaged JC Procurement Services to assist us with the planning, sourcing, and delivery of a range of items for the 2015 Festival of Sails.
Items we required include; 

• colour coded and wax coated paper ID wrist bands for the event
• leather compendiums for the boat owners who participated in the event
• coveted trophies awarded to the winners of the sailing events
• a variety of quality items used as give-aways to the entrants and the public.
• Angela Cao was our account manager and provided us with an exceptional level of customer service and planning.

We faced some complications with a Chinese supplier who failed to manufacture the items as agreed and was being uncooperative. However, thanks to Angela as well as the staff in the JC Procurement China offices, we were able to resolve the issues with this supplier swiftly and to our satisfaction. This would not have been possible without the human resources within China provided to us by JC Procurement Services.

Angela was able to secure high quality items at attractive prices and managed to have all the items delivered safely and on time for the Festival of Sails event.

Thanks to efforts of JC Procurement Services and Angela, we were able save approximately 40% on our procurement budget. This saving enabled us to use our newly available resources to have JC Procurement source more items for the event.

The boat owners who attended the event were extremely impressed by the quality and appearance of the compendiums which were included in gift packs for the event competitors.

The members of the Royal Geelong Yacht Club and I, have been so impressed with JC Procurement services that we have already made arrangements to engage them again to assist us with the procurement of important items for the 2016 Festival of Sails.
